New Mexico Ultrasound Society was founded in 2007 by a group of passionate sonographers wanting to support the local community. They saw the need for local conferences and started organizing bi-annual meetings that offer affordable CME's to help meet the continuing education requirements of the ARDMS. This group has grown tremendously throughout the years thanks to our loyal subscribers and dedicated board members. Our goal is to connect sonographers throughout New Mexico and network the up and coming with the seasoned. Ultrasound has evolved into a diverse modality, with subspecialties from fetal echo to MSK to vascular to neuro and almost everything in between. If we can put gel on it, you can bet a physician will ask us to send sound waves into it. We often get asked about affordable CME's outside of the conferences the society offers and employment opportunities. We will utilize this webpage to communicate with our members, it will be updated frequently.
